New Research Shows That Men Who Marry Smart Women Live Longer
Is intelligence one of the qualities you seek in women?
Is intelligence one of the qualities you seek in women? If not, you should put it at the top of your list, because according to scientists, the smarter your wife is, the longer you'll live.
A recent research has revealed that men who marry intelligent women live longer and have a lower risk of developing dementia.
The study was performed by the University of Aberdeen and examined the health of identical twins. Its results showed that having a smart wife is a significant factor in protecting men against degenerative diseases.
According to this research, men who marry intelligent women live longer and happier lives and are less likely to suffer from Alzheimer's disease and dementia.
Previous research has shown that people who are always challenged intellectually by games such as crossword puzzles are less likely to develop dementia and Alzheimer's disease because their brains are constantly stimulated. Therefore, it makes sense that a wife who engages and challenges her husband intellectually would benefit him the same way.
What's even more impressive is that some of the men with really clever wives even showed physical signs of dementia in a brain scan, but didn't suffer from any symptoms. In fact, they were described as "highly intelligent" and "fully functional".
Not all men value a woman's brains over her beauty, but they'd better start to, because they'll benefit from it, both mentally and physically.
