A Face Filter Error Reveals That A 'Young' Chinese Vlogger Was In Reality A 58-years-old Woman

This woman has been deceiving her fans by using a face filter to hide her real age. Due to an error to the filter, she has been exposed, and some people were not happy.

Chinese video blogger "Your Highness Qiao Biluo" had 130,000 followers on DouYu, a popular live-streaming platform in China. She uploaded pictures and short videos showing a young woman, leading her fans to believe that was her.

However, when she streamed, she would use a filter and hide her face, saying she'd meet her fans in real life for 100,000 yuan ($14,500).

Last week, she was in a joint live-stream with another vlogger named Qingzi (on the left). Your Highness Qiaobiluo's face was covered with a cartoon image. "I can't show my face until I receive gifts worth 100,000 yuan. After all, I'm a good-looking host." the 58-year-old said, and her fans started coughing up donations.

At some point during the stream, the face filter she was using disappeared, revealing her face. The conversation between the two awkwardly continued, as Qingzi got confused and Qiaobiluo had no idea what was going on. She eventually realized the glitch happened when her fans started bolting from the stream.

This incident made the TV news in China, and some people were seriously upset, calling this a 'fraud'. Others said it wasn't uncommon for vloggers to enhance their looks by using make-up or filters. Many people said that those who donate to streamers totally deserved it.

In the end, after all this hustle, Your Highness Qiaobiluo received an outpouring of support. She gathered half a million followers and became the most searched streamer on DouYu. She's back in business, and her fans now call her "Granny".
