Be careful with the color of the yolk when you eat eggs

Have you ever noticed that the yolk of eggs can have different colors? Maybe you noticed, maybe you didn't, but the fact is that the color is very important.

Scientists have discovered that the yolk of an egg is determined by the number of carotenoids that it contains. Carotenoids are antioxidants which help forming vitamin A which is very good for our bones. So, if the color of the yolk is richer, then nutrients are healthier. The color of the yolk is determined by the food that the chicken ate. If it ate only grain, then the yolk would be a pale yellow. But if the diet of the chicken is more various and it includes corn, plans, insects then the yolk will be orange.
