Maid Of Honor Dresses Up As A T-Rex After Bride Tells Her To Wear Whatever She Wants
She did tell her to wear whatever she wants...
You're getting married, what do you choose?
1. Pick the bridesmaids' dresses yourself.
2. Ask them to wear dresses that are a certain color or style.
3. Let them wear whatever makes them feel comfortable.
Whatever you choose, the most important thing is that you have a blast at your wedding. Many brides care a lot about the bridesmaids' outfits, while for others this aspect isn't that important. One such bride was Deanna Adams who told her sister, the maid of honor, to wear whatever she pleases.
'About a year ago my big sister texted me asking if I would be her maid of honor,' she says.
'She, knowing that I'm not a big fan of wearing formal dresses and that I probably wouldn't have a lot of money to buy something really nice, reassured me by letting me know that I could pick out any outfit that I choose. I was trying to think of something that I would be willing to wear more than once and thought to myself, "Well, she did say anything, and if I'm spending more than $50, I want it to be a dinosaur costume, because they're fantastic and I've always wanted one. I sent her a text so that she could have a laugh - surprisingly she was ok with it!'
In the following months, Christina - the maid of honor - changed her mind several times and found other outfit ideas, including Tardis from Doctor Who. However, in the end, the dinosaur costume was the winner.
When the wedding day came, the maid of honor gave her big sister several chances to change her mind - obviously, if the bride hadn't been on board with the costume she never would have worn it - but Deanna didn't back down, and was accompanied down the aisle by a huge T-Rex.
The bride said her sister was awesome and she thought the costume was hilarious, and in the end, that's all that matters. The post went viral, and the now the whole world's heard about her wedding, which can't be said about most of us, right? We love both of their sense of humor and we wish the happy couple all the best!
