This Baby Albino Turtle With A Giraffe Neck Looks Like A Tiny Dinosaur

This turtle looks like a tiny dinosaur and we're melting.

Mike Aquilina, aka AquaMike on social media, adopted a tiny unique reptile, from an albino turtle breeder. She has a golden and white-patterned shell, a pale body, and an incredibly long neck that makes her look like a tiny dinosaur or an underwater giraffe.

Mike shared an image of his new turtle on social media, where he explained it is an 'Albino Florida Softshell'. Florida Softshell turtles are known for their long necks, but Mike said he wasn't prepared to see his new pet extend her head that far.

Thanks to her long neck the turtle looks like a tiny dinosaur, so when Mike asked for help to name it, people suggested names like 'Nessie', 'Goldie', or 'Brachiosaurus'.

Mike has another turtle called Hope, who has an unusual condition in which her heart beats out of her chest. On his website, he wrote:

I never really knew what I wanted to do with my life, but I've always been a creative guy who is passionate about animals.

Putting that passion out into the universe has rewarded me in ways that I'd probably say were impossible a little over a year ago. I am very excited to be on this journey and figuring it out along with all of you.

My mission is to save animals... I am also here to educate people about animals as well as help spread hope to everyone who could use some!
