Your eyes may be the window to your soul, but they can also hide some health issues.

Your eyes can tell a lot about your health if you know how to read the signs.

1. Red eyes

Red eyes can occur due to an injury, but they can also be a sign of high blood pressure, or a hematological disease.

2. Bulging eyes

Most of the times, this feature is inherited, but if it suddenly occurs, it may hide a thyroid disease.

3. Eyelid drooping

Also known as ptosis, it usually comes with the age, but it may also be a sign of a brain tumor or a neuromuscular disease.

4. Pupils abnormalities

Healthy people have symmetrical pupils that change identically at light. If one of them is bigger or changes differently, it may hide a stroke, multiple sclerosis, syphilis, brain aneurysm or a tumor.

5. Blurred vision

If you notice your vision getting blurry by the end of the day, you might be dealing with stress. Get enough rest and try to live a balanced life.

6. Night vision problems

Those who suffer from poor night vision may lack Vitamin A. Try eating foods that are rich in Vitamin A, like carrots, sweet potatoes or spinach.

7. Puffy eyes

If you wake up having puffy eyes and you haven't had any alcohol recently, you might be dealing with an inflammation.

8. Diabetes

It may seem hard to believe, but diabetes can be diagnosed by an ophthalmologist, because the fluctuations in blood glucose make changes in the retinal blood vessels.

9. Blank staring

Those who often space out, stare at certain objects or seem to ignore people or things within their sight may be dealing with mental disorders.

10. Yellow eyes

Yellow eyes usually hide liver or gall bladder diseases.
